These terms are an agreement between you and Farrell Holdings LLC ("anti-resume", "we"), which runs anti-resume.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Who can use anti-resume
- You must be 18 or older.
- One account and one page per person. Your page has to be about you.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Your page and what you post
- You own your content. You give us permission to host it, show it on your page and in the places you choose (the directory, your network, link previews), and make the copies needed to run and back up the site. That permission ends when you delete the content, apart from backups that expire on their own schedule.
- Your page is public as soon as you create it. Don't post anything you wouldn't want the world to see.
- Tell the truth. Your work, your story, and how each thing was made should be accurate, and "made with" labels must be honest.
- Post only what you have the right to post. That means not other people's work presented as yours, not confidential material, and not other people's personal information without their permission.
The stamp, vouches and verified links
- The Hand-Checked stamp means a person at anti-resume read your page and found it acceptable for the site. It is not a background check, and we don't confirm your employment, credentials or claims.
- Vouches are statements by members about members, confirmed by the person vouched for. They are those members' words, not ours. Vouch only for people you've actually worked or built with.
- A ✓ verified link means the linked site points back to your anti-resume page. It doesn't verify anything else about that site.
Messages
Messaging is for members, inside anti-resume. No spam, bulk or unsolicited sales messages, harassment, or attempts to move people off the platform to scam them. Daily limits apply. Members can turn messages off or limit who can write to them.
Things you may not do
- Pretend to be someone else, or create a page for someone else.
- Post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or intended to deceive.
- Give, request or trade vouches you know are false.
- Use bots, scripts or fake accounts; scrape pages in bulk; or try to get around rate limits, the bot check, or a block.
- Probe, attack or disrupt the site.
- Use anti-resume to send spam, or to collect members' information for marketing.
Moderation
We review pages and act on reports. We can hide an item, withhold or remove a stamp, block a page (it then shows a notice instead of your content), suspend an account, or delete an account if you break these terms or put others at risk. We'll usually tell you why, unless doing so would be unsafe or unlawful. To dispute a decision, email hello@anti-resume.com from your account's address.
Page names
Your page name (anti-resume.com/view/your-name) is yours to use while your account exists, but you don't own it. If you change it, the old name redirects to you for 12 months and can't be taken by anyone else in that time. Deleted accounts' names are held for 12 months, then may be reused. We may reclaim a name that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, or is otherwise misleading.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab of your dashboard. We may suspend or end accounts as described under Moderation, or if we stop running anti-resume, in which case we'll give at least 30 days' notice where we can, so you can save your content.
No warranties
anti-resume is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
No liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Farrell Holdings LLC accepts no liability for your use of anti-resume or for anything arising from it. That includes what members post or say (pages, vouches, messages), decisions anyone makes based on a page, lost data or content, and any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Where the law doesn't allow liability to be excluded entirely, our total liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site and email members before it takes effect. Continuing to use anti-resume after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts.
